Hanging out in The Upper West Side

Dakota Bar

Yes winter is here and we can all feel it in the air! Our first blizzard has approached and because of the cold, we are constantly seeking comfort in our beds. Although most people might prefer to stay indoors during this winter season, a night out in the city wouldn’t hurt, right?

In the Upper West Side, there are some cute hangout spots for you to enjoy with others or in solitude. My list includes a local bar and a unique establishment that provides a fun and comfortable atmosphere for everyone.

  1. Alice’s Tea Cup:

Enjoying the “Pumpkin Scone” and “Passion Fruit” tea at Alice’s Tea Cup is probably the best remedy for feeling nostalgic. As a young girl, I used to pretend to have tea parties of my own and by visiting Alice’s Teacup, I am reliving my past in my local neighborhood. I highly recommend this place because you can enjoy their appetizing food and delicious teas under a sweet, comfortable atmosphere.

  1. Dakota bar

Dakota bar is the perfect place for an intimate date or a night out with the girls/guys. I am a huge fan of their drinks, especially the Apropos Spritzer, which is a mix of Aperol and club soda. Prepare to put on your best dress and heels, you are going to love the vibe!
