{:en}The New York soccer scene needs a change and Socceroof has a solution for it! The most popular sport in the World doesn’t get proper attention in the USA yet; but things are changing quickly, and Americans are starting to be more interested in soccer, according to Jean David Tartour, co-founder of the startup and owner of other similar successful facilities throughout Europe. The Socceroof team is ready to put all the efforts into building a New York soccer community.

 The Fashion Mixologist is supporting their cause and went on the field mixing fashion and soccer in a pure Brazilian style.

The World Cup 2018 is finally here, and Brazilians are always very excited about this tournament. No matter where We are, We will have celebrations around the games.

The word “Brazilian” seems to become more and more popular around the World for different reasons but We don’t have any doubts is most well known for this sport called soccer. Brazil is the country that holds more titles in World Cup games and this year it is also the favorite to win the tournament.

I grew up with soccer and all the glory days stories that my dad told me since I was a little girl.  He always practiced the sport, and He is the perfect example of a “soccer fanatic”;  any information I want to know about soccer he is the one I go for it.

For the Brazilians, The World Cup of 1970 was the most historical one, since it took such a long time for us to win another one. We lived by the glories of that team for a long time, and they are still considered the best of all the times.

As soon as you get in the Socceroof, You find “ The Wall of Legends” displaying all The legendary soccer moments in history with the bathroom doors painted with some of the famous number 10 jerseys players, like Pele and now Neymar gets to wear it. I absolutely fell in love with the wall that brought me great memories from my childhood, of my dad playing in his Team called “ Habeas Copus” witch the t-shirt logo was a glass of beer!

We had a soccer field in one of our homes where We used to host parties. I remember They played in the Brazilian style, wearing only speedos and barefoot! In his team he had the honor to play with famous names, like Jairzinho, nicknamed as “The Hurricane” for scoring 1 goal every single game during the World Cup of 1970,  He is considered one of the best 20th best players in the World in the soccer history.

Wherever he played, it was essential to have some kind of entertainment. The facility should have a place where the friends can get together and have some beers, a beverage or even a bite after the game according to him. And Socceroof is covering all these aspects in towards to cover the needs of the New York soccer community.

While looking at the wall I had a pleasant conversation with the co-founder Jean David about his ideas and soccer, We remembered a lot of the great players from the past. He told me the Brazilians have a soccer Ginga style of playing and that’s what makes a difference, and one of his favorite players of all times is Garrincha.

Jean David owns other successful facilities like Socceroof in Europe and saw the possibility to expand to the US taking advantage of the growing American market. He is the pioneer in building a unit of this nature to fulfill the New York soccer community needs.

The place features not only the indoors fields but also 2 bars and a fantastic rooftop with a beautiful skyline view of Manhattan including the “Lady Liberty.” The facility offers entertainment for all the tastes, and it is able to accommodate different types of functions.

Now, It is time to take over the field! I played different characters for this shoot putting in practice a few of my past soccer skills. First  I started by being a referee, they also play an important role in the game and should not be forgotten.

I am all dressed in black like a referee, the only difference is I am wearing high heels…

I wanted to experiment with each position in the field like when I used to play in my family team! So I turned into a sporty goalkeeper wearing a striped dress. 

Who told you, girls cannot play wearing dresses? You have the live proof that it is possible to make it happen!

I am not a Garrincha or Jairzinho but I can move in a Brazilian style!

And during the halftime break, I took a rest in a fashionable way. 

I also tried some tricks with the ball while wearing a red bodycon dress.

To finish the game with style, I switched to the midfielder position wearing a repurposed Cool Girl Tee paired with a pink velvet short.

I was inspired by the 80’s style for this look, it ended up being a mix of a soccer player and John Mcenroe, the tennis player, which I am a huge fan of his character.

At the end of the game, We are all the champions!

As the guys play in speedos in Brazil, I used to play in swimsuits so I could hit the pool without wasting any time!

After the game, I took advantage of the beautiful sunny day to check it out the rooftop and having a couple of refreshing cocktails.

There is always something being renovated in NY and so as Socceroof rooftop, but I still could have a sneak peek of how you can use the space, and since We don’t have any beaches around, It is nice to know you can take advantage of a rooftop area inside the Concrete Jungle.

According to Manager Jonathan Lupinelli, the main idea of the startup is to help develop New York soccer and make this sport more accessible to all. And I believe he has the passion and potential to achieve his goals!

Mas parece que os americanos começam a se interessar mais pelo esporte de acordo com Jean David Tartour que trouxe o complexo Socceroof para Nova York vem com a missão de criar uma comunidade dedicada ao esporte.

E apoiando a causa, a Fashion Mixologist entrou em campo misturando fashion e futebol com estilo um brasileiro de ser.

A Copa do Mundo 2018 finalmente começou, e  claro que se você é brasileiro tudo vai parar para assistir e torcer para nossa seleção. Não importa em que lugar do mundo o brasileiro estiver, com certeza vai haver festa para assistir os jogos. A palavra “Brazilian” parece se tornar cada vez mais popular em todo o mundo por diferentes razões, mas não temos dúvidas que o Brasil é mais conhecido por esse esporte chamado futebol.

Eu cresci com o futebol e todas as histórias das maiores glórias que o Brasil conquistou, contadas pelo meu pai desde que eu era bem pequininha. Ele sempre praticou o esporte, e um torcedor de coração do seu time Fluminense ;   qualquer coisa que eu preciso saber sobre futebol ele é a pessoa a quem eu vou procurar.

Para os brasileiros, a Copa do Mundo de 1970 foi a mais histórica, já que levou tanto tempo para conquistarmos outra. Vivemos as glórias daquele time por um longo tempo já que o Brasil só veio ser campeão novamente em 1994. Mesmo assim a seleção de 70  ainda é considerada  uma das melhores seleções de todos os tempos.

Logo na entrada do complexo, você encontra o que eles chamam de  “The Wall of Legends”, uma parede com grafites e colagens de todos os maiores eventos de futebol da história com as portas do banheiro pintadas com alguns dos famosos jogadores que vestiram a camisa 10, como o Pelé e agora o Neymar. Eu adorei a idéia e me fez voltar ao tempo com ótimas lembranças da minha infância, do meu pai jogando o seu futebol com seu time, que se chamava “Habeas Copus”, e o logo da camiseta era um copo de cerveja!

Me recordei das épocas que tínhamos um sítio com um campo de futebol e sempre faziamos festas  para receber seus amigos para partidas de futebol. Sempre jogaram de sungas e  pés descalços pela manhã e na parte da tarde o churrasco começava e ia até o final do dia. Em seu time haviam nomes famosos do futebol, como Jairzinho, o furacão da Copa de 70.

Jairzinho ficou famoso por ser o único jogador da história das copas a marcar um gol em todos os jogos da Copa de 70 e está na lista de um dos 20 melhores jogadores do mundo no futebol.

 

De acordo com o meu pai em qualquer lugar que ele jogasse, era muito importante que o local oferecesse uma área de lazer, onde ele pudesse depois do jogo conversar com os amigos, beber e relaxar. E o Socceroof oferece diferentes tipos de entretenimento em seu complexo o que é excelente para atrair o público interessado no esporte em NY.

 

Enquanto apreciava a “Wall of Legends”, tive uma conversa descontraída com o co-fundador Jean David Tartou sobre suas idéias e o futebol. Lembramos de muitos dos grandes jogadores do passado, e ele diz que o jeito brasileiro de jogar é baseado na ginga. E um dos seus maiores ídolos é o Garrincha.

Ele é dono de outros complexos de sucesso como o Socceroof na Europa e viu a possibilidade de expandir seu empreendimento para os EUA aproveitando a demanda do mercado americano e interesse pelo esporte. O Socceroof é o primeiro complexo desse tipo em NY.

Além de diversos campos de futsal cobertos, o local oferece 2 bares e uma cobertura fantástica com vista panorâmica de Manhattan, incluindo a “Estátua da Liberdade”. A instalação oferece entretenimento para todos os gostos e é capaz de acomodar diferentes tipos de Eventos.

Agora, é hora de invadir o campo e jogar. Essa sessão de fotos foi inspirada no meu pai e nas minhas lembranças de infância e os personagens que eu incorporei jogam em posições diferentes dentro do campo.

Primeiro eu comecei sendo juiz, eles desempenham um papel importante no jogo e não devem ser esquecidos.

Garanto que foi a primeira vez que vocês viram um juiz de vestido, salto alto e pronta para apitar um jogo!

Depois tentei a posição de goleiro, e usei um vestido esporte de listras combinado com um tênis cinza de veludo.

Provando que é possível jogar futebol de vestido!

E durante o intervalo, descansei, e depois experimentei alguns truques com a bola.

 

E para fechar o jogo com chave de ouro, mudei para a posição de meio de campo vestindo a camiseta da Cool Girl feita especialmente para mim combinada com um short de veludo rosa que lembrava o estilo dos jogadores dos anos 80.

 

Esse look acabou se tornando uma mistura de jogador de futebol com tenista, lembrando muito o John McEnrol.

Nessa partida todos são campeões!

Como os homens jogam em sungas no Brasil, o biquíni é um item importante no closet feminino, especialmente se você é carioca.

Depois do jogo, aproveitando o belo dia de sol, fui para o terraço e claro que muito bem acompanhada de drinks refrescantes da Miss Caipi.

Há sempre algo em construção em NY, assim como o terraço do  Socceroof, mas mesmo assim eu ainda pude ter uma ideia de como você pode usar o espaço, e já que não temos praias por aqui, é bom saber que você tem uma area de lazer por perto nos dias mais quentes para relaxar.

Não há nada melhor do que terminar um dia quente com um sorvete tomando um bom sorvete! Parece até que eu voltei a ser criança de novo, relembrando os tempos do sorvete Kibon…

Segundo o gerente Jonathan Lupinelli, a objetivo principal do Socceroof é ajudar a desenvolver o futebol em NY e tornar esse esporte mais acessível a todos. E eu acredito que eles tem todo potencial para bater as suas metas!

E eu não vejo a hora de o Socceroof abrir as suas portas e se tornar a minha nova área de lazer.
