Fall is finally here, and it is that time of the year that We start to wear our knitwear, drink warm drinks and get ready for the winter. One of the things that most impressed me about NY since I came to live here is how the seasons are so well defined.
It means We are able to dress according to each season and enjoy the best of all of them! We can start to notice the changes well during the fall when the leaves begin to fall and switch colors around Central Park.
Sometimes I keep thinking how lucky I am to be able to live in NYC at a walk distance from Central Park. I love my neighborhood, the Upper West Side, and this is the perfect time of the year to capture the first glimpses of fall.
The Upper West Side is surrounded by townhouses, this season brings the fall decoration with all sort of different types of pumpkins and flowers of the season decorating the stairs of the houses.
The knitwear came strong on the runway displaying a lot of oversized styles in bold colors. I found some great pieces by Femme Lux that I just love that can be part of my closet for fall and winter.

The red color is one of the trends of the following seasons. All the time I want to make a statement red is the color I would go for it. If you don’t have any reds in your closet, it is a good idea to consider have at least one piece to it.

The Central Park is a great spot to see all the seasons transitioning in NY, during the fall the leaves start to fall down until the winter comes and there no leaves at all. During these days you can still enjoy the full park amenities and take your chance of rowing around the lake while the winter doesn’t come.
The black dress is always an essential item in any women’s closet, and We could not miss this piece made just perfect to wear on any occasion coming in a knitwear version. For this look, I paired the black dress with ankle boots and a choker. It is always good to have a look that it is easy to style in hands.
