How to Build A Fast Halloween Costume

If You didn’t get your Halloween Costume yet, I have some costume’s characters for you. Since being creative is part of my life, this year I put together costume options that I built with items I purchased at Amazon using my Amazon prime membership. I am a big 80’s fan by nature, I love the music, the artists, the movies. I even have a cassette case for my iPhone. Celebrating some of my favorite characters I am incorporating Sandy from Grease and Madonna. I am attaching the Spotify music for the characters make sure you listen to while reading the post, just click in the music name.

“ You are The One that I want”

“Lucky Star”

I love the movie Grease, I remember growing up as a kid and watching the movie when I was a little kid, my dad had a 8 millimeters projector at the time and we used to borrow the movies from a friend, and with this type of equipment you had to watch the movies by parts and the only part we had for Grease was the end of the movie when the naive Sandy turns into a super sexy Sandy. It was like magic, I knew all the dance moves and tried to sing the song “ You are The One that I want” but at that time my english was not as good but I would have so much fun. For this costume I am wearing a leather faux jacket, Disco pants, a shoulder down top, red heels with a pair of gold rings, I put a lot of work doing my hair using a curly iron and getting the right red lipstick to resemble Sandy’s look; I used as a location for this shoot the Cafe Talulah, same place where I shot Ziggy Stardust, my first blog post incorporating David Bowie which it is another great customer option that you could build for Halloween, this is the link to the post: Ziggy Stardust.

And here it comes “Madonna”… I admire so much her as an artist and creator, always innovating and inspiring people with new characters, new dance moves, outfits, great performances until these days.

The costume was inspired in the“ Like a Virgin” costume time and the music playing for this shoot was “Lucky Star” witch came fit perfectly with the moves I was doing around the bar during the photo shoot. For this costume I am wearing a white corset that you can also wear for a burlesque inspired look, I had a ballerina skirt, fishnets gloves and tights paired with bulk jewelry and platform boots. You cannot even imagine how much fun I had dancing and singing during the shoot!

I love to be creative and being inspired by great artists, These are the best memories  life can bring along the way. And Miss caipi could not miss the chance to come out with some of her Caipi recipes for Sandy and Madonna. Stay tuned for the Grease lighting Caipi recipe and The Lucky Star Caipi recipes coming soon in the blog can already be found in the blog.
