2 Simple Ways to Incorporate Colors in Your Life

Trend colors of 2016

Feeling a little dull in your life? Add some color pop to that funk! Here are two simple ways to include color in your life.

1. Have a Color Consultation

It is popular fashion trend to match your wardrobe according to the current season. For instance, in autumn the popular colors are maroons, olive greens, burnt oranges, etc. This is a smart move when wanting to add some color into your daily attire.

When someone approaches you, have you ever noticed the person saying, “This color looks great on you! I am sure you were wearing one of the colors of your group.” Hmm… colors of your group you might say? Well in fact, every person has a group of colors that is matched with his/her personality. This color group uplifts and harmonizes your energy according to your skin tone. This is why I believe a professional color analysis is the first step to an image consultation because you can identify these colors and incorporate them to your own personal style. By discovering your color group, you will look and feel great along with boosting your self-confidence. Another pro to this consultation is eliminating the amount of storage space in your closet.  The unnecessary garments never brought out the real you anyways, so toss those out and bring in the new babies! Color coordinating according to season is always beneficial as well.

2. Use Feng Shui in your living space

People tend to overlook the impact living space has in their lives. After I started to study Feng Shui, I became more observant to the power of colors and how colors were affecting my everyday lifestyle. Feng Shui is about balancing the energy of your space. These colors are based on the 5 natural elements: earth, water, fire, metal, and wood. These elements are the basic principles for Feng Shui and can be identified with colors, objects, and materials. You can also place them using the bagua, which then you can find the aspects of your life present in your own space.

Now that you know how to make a better use of colors in your wardrobe and in your space, how are you willing to use colors in your life?
