Can you guess that tune?! Well if not, I am here to share the wonderful and unforgettable David Bowie. Those lines were from my favorite song, Modern love, which is from his album titled “Let’s Dance.” You can listen to the tune while reading the post…
David Bowie was one of the most creative artists of his time. If you remember David Bowie, you will remember him as Ziggy Stardust. Bowie was inspired to create the Ziggy Stardust image from the 60’s musician, Stardust Cowboy. Ziggy Stardust emerged in the early 70’s, I am fascinated by his music, unique style, vibrant make-up, the spacey costumes, and the idea of someone creating a new persona. Although Ziggy Stardust lasted for a year before Bowie reappeared, Ziggy performed with the band “The Spiders from Mars” in the years 1972-73. This opportunity granted Bowie the recognition as one of the most popular artists in musical history.
David Bowie is launching a new album, “Blackstar.” What’s better than to celebrate this exciting news with a photo shoot and a new drink? Thanks to Cafe Talullah, I was able to shoot some funky images portraying myself as Ziggy. I must say their food is absolutely scrumptious and they provide excellent customer service! I was inspired to recreate the Ziggy Stardust’s style because I relate to him as a creator and innovator. He paved the way for distinctive culture and stood out amongst the crowd just as Miss Caipi is with her creations of Brazilian cocktails. In the upcoming post, I will provide a brief overview of the ingredients used to create the “Ziggy Caipi.”
I had so much fun going back in time and reliving the 70’s era along with creating a drink dedicated to one of my favorite legends. Don’t forget on January 8, 2016, the Broadway musical “Lazarus” will be making its debut appearance which includes new arrangements of famous songs and new songs composed by Bowie.

Será que alguém adivinha qual e essa musica? Bem, se você não adivinhou eu estou aqui para reverenciar o inesquecível David Bowie. Esse trecho são de uma das minhas canções favoritas, Modern love, do album Let’s Dance que voce pode conferir na media da postagem.
David Bowie foi um dos artistas mais criativos de todos os tempos. David Bowie sempre será lembrado como Zigg Stardust, onde Bowie se inspirou na imagem do musico dos anos 60 chamado Stardust Cowboy. Zigg surgiu no começo da década de 70, eu sempre fui fascinada não só por sua musica para também pelo seu estilo irreverente. Desde da maquiagem, fantasias espaciais ate a ideia de alguém poder incorporar um personagem diferente. O tour do Zigg Stardust durou somente 1 a com a participação da Banda ” The Spiders of Mars” nos anos de 1972-73. David Bowie entrou para historia como um dos artistas mais criativos e populares da historia.
Ele acabou de lançar o seu novo album ” Blackstar”e o seu seu musical da Broadway “Lazurus” que será lançado no dia 8 de janeiro em NY, se vocês estiverem passando por aqui vale a pena conferir. Nada melhor para celebrar o grande artista que um ensaio fotográfico inspirado no personagem Zigg Stardust fotografado no famoso Cafe Tallulah, mais dos meus locais favoritos no bairro do Upper West Side onde moro, ótimo serviço e a comida em estilo francês e de primeira! Claro que a Miss Caipi contribuiu com a criação da “Zigg Caipi”. Eu como empreendedora me identifico muito com Bowie como criador e inovador; Ele criou a sua própria trajetória e se destacou influenciando toda uma geração com seu jeito único de ser; a inspiração de criar a Miss Caipi também veio de uma ideia única e inovadora de criar caipis e transmitir a felicidade. Na postagem seguinte eu irei fazer uma breve demonstração dos ingredientes e modo de preparo da ” Zigg Caipi”.
Foi muito divertido voltar ao tempo recriando a década de 70 e criando um drink em homenagem a um dos meus maiores ídolos. O musical Lazarus terá novas musicas e canções famosas com novos arranjos feitos por Bowie, vale a pena conferir se você estiver em NY ou estiver passando por aqui.
