My recipe for Halloween was inspired in the “ Lucky Star” Madonna song and it was specially mixed using one of “Owl’s Brew Cocktail Mixer”. Owl’s Brew has a line of cocktail mixers brewed with teas, spices, herbs,no artificial flavor and they simply use Agave Nectar making a low sugar mixer, which I love it. Miss Caipi is all about natural ingredients and low sugar mixers, so it fit my concept perfectly! When I create a cocktail, I want you to have the perfect drink that you can enjoy all night and I can get there using Owls’ Brew ! You are able to find the Owls’ brew in big supermarkets like, Whole Foods or even purchase online through their website. If you are looking for a simple natural ways to mix your cocktails at home I would totally recommend to check it out the Owls’ Brew mixers line and be your own mixologist.

For the Lucky Star Caipi, I used the Pink and Black mixer blended with black tea, hibiscus, lemon peel, strawberry juices to make a punch style cocktail to enjoy during the festive times, starting by halloween and can be followed by thanksgiving and holiday times.

Lucky Star Caipi Recipe

1 Serving

1 ½ OZ Vodka

1 oz of white Wine

2 oz if Owls Brew Pink and Black Mixer

1 dash of Agave Nectar Light

2 oz of Pomegranate Nectar

½ pear

4 Ice cubes

Combine all the ingredients in a shaker and shake well. You can garnish with star pear shapes to give an extra flavor to your cocktail.

Punch bowl

6 Oz Vodka

½ White wine bottle

8 Oz bottle of Owl’s Brew Pink and Black Mixer

2 TSP of Agave Nectar Light

6 Oz of Pomegranate Nectar

2 cups of Ice

1 pear

2 cups of White Tapioca Bubbles

Boil the white tapioca bubbles in hot water for 5 min then put them in cold water for 10min. Put  all the ingredients in a punch bowl, except for the pear, that you will build your pear star shapes to decorate your punch and add some extra flavor. Then Stir well and enjoy your cocktail.

A Owls brew é uma linha de mistura já preparada para dar um gostinho a mais a sua bebida e facilitar a sua vida na hora de fazer o seu coquetel em casa. A mistura básica é toda baseada em chás, ervas e condimentos todos naturais e com baixo teor de açucar e possui uma linha de sabores para gostos variados. Para a Caipi Lucky Star eu usei a mistura sabor Pink and Black com chá preto, hibiscous, cascas de lima, suco de morango para ser feito tipo um punch e que pode ser usado durante as festividades de final ano.

 

Receita 

1 drink

45 ml vodka

45 ml vinho branco

50ml Owl’s Brew Pink and Black

1 gota de agave nectar

50ml de suco de Romã

4 cubos de gelo

Colocar todos os ingredientes em uma coqueteleira e mexer bem. Cortar a pêra em pedaços ou em formato de estrela se preferir e colocar no drink

Tijela ou Jarra

1/4 da garrafa de vodka

1/2 garrafa de vinho branco

2 tsp of Agave nectar light

200ml de suco de Romã

2 copos de gelo

1 xícara de bolinhas de tapioca brancas

1 pêra

Esquente as bolinhas de tapioca em água quente por 15 min e depois coloque em água fria. Então coloque os ingredientes em uma tijela ou jarra, com excessão da pêra e com uma colher grande mexa bem. Corte a pêra em pedaços ou molde em formato de estrelas e coloque no punch para dar um sabor extra.
