St Patrick’s Day Cocktails Ideas

Drinks

St Patrick’s Day is coming tomorrow, and New York is all about getting ready for all the celebrations around the date. It is a Saint celebration, and the Irish traditionally celebrate cheering with a right amount of boozy envolved.

Miss Caipi is all set with her Patti’s Caipi cocktail made with Telling Irish Whiskey, Owl’s Brew Wicked Green mixer and green apple nectar. Since It is an Irish holiday, I tried to go as Irish as possible with the ingredients I picked, doing research about popular fruits in Ireland that I could use as a reference to create the cocktail.Let’s bring it out the Irish culture to celebrate the date!

I am also displaying another cocktail sent to me by Casamigos Tequila, owned by George Clooney and Rande Gerber, I like the brand, and quality comes at a high level. The cocktail mix is balanced and easy to prepare so let ‘s not waste time and learn how to make these St Patrick Day Cocktails!

Swimsuit Styles You can wear even if You are not 100% biquini ready

Fashion/ Lifestyle

Feeling You are not  %100 bikini ready, but You have that dreaming beach vacation coming up in the middle of the winter and you don’t have any idea which swimsuit styles you should take in your suitcase. I got the solution for you! I picked 2 swimsuit styles you can wear without any concerns for the occasion. Swimsuits remind me the times when I used to model in Miami during their high season. If You are a Model in Miami they expect you to be, a “ bikini ready on call”, for obvious reasons most of the jobs you will work there you are required to wear swimsuits. But I confess that I never felt 100% bikini ready all the times, it was always something missing and in need to be improved. Thinking about this issue I looked for swimsuit styles that you don’t need to be exactly %100 bikini ready and you still can look your best.

Let’s start with this tribal 2 pieces swimsuit with high-waisted bottom and strips on the side look and bustier top.  This look is coming really strong for the season, it has extra coverage for your stomach with a great amount of sophistication complimenting your beach look.   Read more

A taste of Brazilian Barbecue at Meat Market Steakhouse

Drinks/ Fashion/ Reviews

During my visit to Palm Beach, I stopped by at one of  Meat Market Steakhouse‘s branch to check it out some of the Chef Sean’s new creations on their menu. For the ones that read my last year post, “Meat Market for Dinner tonight”, already know Meat Market and Chef Sean Brasel has the best to offer. The great hospitality and delicious food provided it is definitely something I would like to experience all the time and that’s probably why makes me coming back. With different locations spread around the country, at this time I went to visit the Meat Market Palm Beach,  awarded as one of the 10 best restaurants in town by US Today.

The Palm beach branch has a different environment than the one in Miami beach, especially on Thursdays nights when They have a DJ coming after 11 turning the place into a big dance floor, transforming from a restaurant to a lounge/club scene with guests dancing and mingling all over the place. It is definitely worth to check it out but if you are planning on having a full dinner course, make sure to get there before the party starts to have enough time to enjoy your meal and party afterward.

Birthday Wishes and looks of a Cool Girl

Cool Girl's Diary/ Fashion/ Lifestyle

My birthday always brings memories of my family. My parents, siblings, and relatives that are far away from me in distance but very close in my heart. This date means a beginning of a new cycle with new goals and it’s time to be thankful for everything I achieved over the years and not forgetting to thank everybody that has been part of all of it. You, my family and,  friends are the most important part of who I am and what I want to be, and without you, none, of this would be possible.

I intend to spend this day surrounded by happiness and positive vibes! Getting older means to me: acquiring more experience, learn from my past mistakes, try to make better decisions and work in towards to building a better me. And I wish to have a lot of strength to keep creating and sharing my values with all of you.

How To Make a Mr. Nono Caipi Cocktail

Drinks/ Cool Girl's Diary

I am so happy to finally be able to share the recipe, Miss Caipi, created for the Mr. Nono Cocktail. I already introduced the recipe during the “Give To Receive” Pop Shop Event during the holidays. The name Mr. Nono,  it is the name of a character introduced on the Blog post ” What Is It to Be a Cool Girl”, people really loved the funny name!

I might come out of other versions of this drink using the same name, maybe different fruits depend on the season and the circumstances of the Event. The drink was mixed under the Mr. Nono mood, mysterious and not sweet at all. I used angostura bitters, lemon juice and a splash of orange juice and a touch of honey to balance all the ingredients. It can be mixed with Sake, Vodka or even bourbon. If you are not the type that like sweet drinks, this one will suit you perfectly. Let’s learn how to make a Mr. Nono Caipi! Read more

Are Text Messages The New Way of Dating?

Cool Girl's Diary

Hello, my friends!

First, I want to thank all of you that took your time to comment on my last “What is to be a Cool Girl” post. I wrote with the intention to remind the importance of giving to receive in our lives.

After all the comments I had, it seems quite a few people have a similar situation as the Cool Girl and Mr. Nono. One of most popular comment it was about exchanging text messages or WhatsApp messages and what is the best way to deal with the situation. I found this time of the year the perfect time to write this post since it seems that all Mr. or Ms. Nono’s take advantage of the holiday time to make their big comeback using text messages.

New Year, New ideas and looks

Fashion/ Lifestyle

The New year is approaching bringing the idea of renovation to all of us. The biggest question is: What do you need to innovate in 2017? Let’s set our goals at the beginning and start to put in practice. If you didn’t plan your 2017 yet, it is time to do it!

There so many parties happening around NYC for New Years Eve, a lot of Events to go if you are in the Big Apple during this time of the year. You can go to Times Square to see the ball dropping, just be ready for the low temperatures outside and expect a big crowed around you. They usually sell pre packages for the NYE parties, but you can still find Events to go after midnight for affordable prices or even for free if you are in a mood to celebrate all night long. I will be attending a party at the Gansevoort Rooftop at the Meatpacking district, celebrating my New Year’s Eve in a big style.
